Mounties asking for public’s help identifying suspected shoplifter

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to have been involved in a shoplifting incident. According to police, around 8:27 p.m. on March 28th the suspect entered the business in the area of 103 Avenue and 112 Street, and placed items in his cart before attempting to return them.

After he was unable to “return” the items for money, the suspect reportedly proceeded to leave the store with the items.

Mounties were able to get security footage of the man believed to be involved in the incident. He is described as wearing a camo jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes. Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to contact Grande Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
