Mother-Son event set for Webster Community Hall this Saturday

Webster Community Hall in Sexsmith is hosting a mother-son event this Saturday, April 22nd from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will include dances, wagon rides, a photoshoot with a professional photographer, and surprise guests.

Event planner Sarah Christie-Wurz says they want people to come out and have family fun together in the hall in the hopes that they would like to use the hall in the  future for their functions.

“There will be a lot of Grande Prairie residents coming out, [and] we just want people to get out you know and have fun with a cowboy theme and you don’t have to dress up gala,” says Christie-Wurz

Christie-Wurz says there has been a demand to host a mother-son event after hosting a father-daughter event in 2022.

“Ours is more for people, it’s affordable and there are not a lot of halls left in the area so we just want to promote it too.”

The entrance fee is $30 per person and there is no age limit to attend. The contact for tickets is Sarah Christie-Wurz at 780-882-7442.
