After a several-year absence, the North Peace Hockey League will be represented at the Hockey Alberta Senior AA Provincials. The Spirit River Rangers are heading to Wainwright from April 6th to 9th to face the Wainwright Rustlers, Elk Point Elks, and Siksika Buffaloes.
Game one is Thursday at 8 p.m. against the hosting Rustlers. Games will be streamed on Youtube.
On Facebook, North Peace Hockey says the plan moving forward is to get into the rotation to host the Senior AA provincials in the future and to send teams to the tournament on a regular basis.
