Native Counselling Services of Alberta are once again hosting festivities for Aboriginal Day Sunday at Muskoseepi Park in Grande Prairie.
The event is free for anyone who would like to attend and gets started at 1 pm Sunday. There will be performances of traditional music and dancing in the amphitheatre, a fashion show, face painting, aboriginal education activities, and former Canada’s Next Top Model turned inspiration speaker Linsey Willier will be speaking to the crowd gathered.
Aboriginal Day is celebrated across Canada. Things will get started at 1 and wrap up at 8 on Sunday.
