Contractor picked for Grimshaw Shared Schools project

A contractor has been chosen to build the two new schools that will be attached to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex in Grimshaw.

Marshall-Lee Construction out of Spruce Grove was picked through an RFP process that saw four companies submit proposals. The company has offered general contracting services since 1970 and has helped complete several commercial and institutional projects like arenas, hospitals, and more than 30 schools.

Construction on the replacement schools for Kennedy Elementary, Grimshaw Junior and Senior High, and Holy Family School should start in the coming month, with completion set for September 2016. A design builder meeting with all partners is scheduled for Tuesday.
