The Grande Prairie Catholic School Division has announced the new Principal for Mother Teresa Catholic School.
In a release, the school division says that Rochelle McDonald started as the new principal of the school back in September, but has worked for the division since 2015. McDonald previously was the principal of St Mary’s Catholic School. In the release, she says that she is looking forward to working with the staff at Mother Teresa and helping them build a safe and caring learning environment for the students.
“We have a great team here at Mother Teresa! With a big school, they work so hard to make sure that everything runs smoothly,” McDonald says. “I am so proud of them and all that they do. I look forward to the rest of the school year and growing with families and the community.”
McDonald has a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Education and Numeracy, with a background in Montessori teaching, instructional coaching, and division numeracy leadership.
