A summer full of racing at the Hythe Motor Speedway will get underway this weekend.
Saturday’s racing gets started at 5 pm and will include Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, and the first stop of the Mike and Ike’s Northern Alberta Legends Car tour.
Sunday is the speedway’s annual Fan Appreciation Day. Spectators get to attend races for half price and the first 50 kids under 12 years old will get in for free.
Sunday racing will also include the Leadfoot Legends. Gates open at noon with events startung at 2 pm.
