The Grande Prairie RONA raised $7277.82 for the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and the Northwest Territories. The funds raised for the society will go towards supporting research that is currently underway, along with studies that the society is conducting to help better understand this disease.
The local hardware store was one of 313 different locations that took part in the Lowe’s Canada Heroes Campaign from September 1st to October 7th. The campaign raised over $1.44 million to be donated to 242 local charities across the country.
