Jackpot Grill robbed by man in Halloween mask

Police are looking for two men accused of robbing Jackpot Grill Monday afternoon. Around 3:20 p.m. a man entered the restaurant, went into the washroom, and left again.

Right after, another man came in with a black handgun and assaulted an employee. They suffered minor injuries but the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two men fled in a black, newer model two door car with alloy rims. It may have been a Hyundai, and its license plate looked like it had been blacked out with paint or a marker.

The first man is described as Caucasian, 20 to 25 years old, 5’8″ to 5’10”, 160 to 180 pounds, and clean shaven. He was wearing a grey skateboard jacket, baggy blue jeans, dark work boots, a dark large brimmed baseball cap and a necklace or chain on the outside of his shirt.

The second man was also Caucasian, and is described as 5’8″ to 6’0″ and heavy set. He was wearing a grey zip up hoodie with black print on the chest and black pull string, along with a dark Alien brand ball cap. He was also wearing a green plastic Halloween skull mask with dark shadowing near the eyes and mouth, along with black and yellow gloves and dark shoes.

Anyone who could help identify them is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
