Raid the Rockies is described as a thrilling, multisport stage race, that is returning for its "highly anticipated" second edition, following the success of the inaugural event at Abraham Lake last year, this time in Grande Cache.Â
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at approximately 8:41 a.m. Thursday morning in the Grande Cache region, according to Earthquakes Canada. Data is reporting the epicentre of the quake was approximately 66 kilometres north east of the Hamlet at a depth of five kilometres.
As the weather heats up and people look to cool down in the different bodies of water around Alberta, Grande Prairie Technical Search and Rescue is reminding everyone to keep safety in mind.Â
The County of Grande Prairie has reduced the Kiskatinaw River wildfire evacuation area, allowing those who live east of Range Road 132 to Range Road 130 between Township Road 710 and Township Road 740 to return home.
