A trio of Edmontonians are facing a combined total of 27 drug trafficking and firearm-related offences, after a multi-unit drug bust supported by the Grande Prairie RCMP.
The Peace Regional RCMP seized nearly 15 grams of suspected fentanyl after officers were made aware of an "unknown, suspicious substance" located at a business in the area of 56th Street in Grimshaw.Â
Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams has dismantled what officials are calling an alleged fentanyl "superlab," operating outside of Valleyview, responsible for producing a significant amount of fentanyl for the Western Canadian drug market.Â

The County of Grande Prairie has reduced the Kiskatinaw River wildfire evacuation area, allowing those who live east of Range Road 132 to Range Road 130 between Township Road 710 and Township Road 740 to return home.
