County of Grande Prairie 2016/2017 budget talks begin tomorrow

This week it’s the County of Grande Prairie’s turn to discuss their capital and operating budgets for the next two years. County Councillors will be starting their 2016 and 2017 preliminary budget reviews tomorrow.

Each department will have a turn to present, starting with corporate services, followed by public works, community services, and then planning and development. County CAO Bill Rogan will also have a presentation on the county’s communications unit and health and safety unit.

Four days have been allotted for budget deliberations if necessary.
