Celebrating Indigenous Culture
Native Counselling Services of Alberta, host agency, with Western Cree Tribal Council, Metis Nation of Alberta Region 6, City of Grande Prairie, Northwest Polytechnic, Dar Car Development and Elders Caring Shelter extend an invitation to join us on Sunday, June 26, 2022 @ 1pm at Muskoseepi Park Amphitheatre to Celebrate Indigenous Culture with us!
Activities will include:
* Talent Competition (Jigging, Vocals, and Fiddling) for all ages,
* Honoring Seven individuals for the Seven Sacred Teaching Awards,
* Recognition of Gr. 12 Student Graduates,
* Fashion Show,
* Alex Kusturok ~ Fiddler,
* John Shewfelt Jr. all the way from Alaska,
* Bluebird Indigenous Dance Troupe,
* Children’s Activities,
* Agency Displays,
* Crafters,
* Talent Competition
and other activities happening through out the day.
