Charges laid in rural break and enter

A 51 year old Grande Prairie man has been charged following a break and enter at a rural property.

RCMP say they were call to the home outside the city around 10:15 pm on April 5.

A suspect had attempted to enter the home by kicking in the basement window, but fled the home on foot when he was confronted by the resident.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, is facing charges of break and enter, and will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on May 4.
