A recent survey has found Grande Prairie has the second hottest job market in Canada.
The Labour Day study was released by the largest franchised staffing firm in North America, Express Employment Professionals, showing available jobs instead of unemployment rates.
Grande Prairie has 11.61 open jobs for every 1,000 people, topped only by Fort McMurray at 113.71.
It’s no surprise that other Alberta cities helped round out the top 10, with Edmonton in fifth, Red Deer in eighth and Calgary in tenth.
