City wrapping up road rehabilitation work in several areas across Grande Prairie

Construction crews will be in several locations across Grande Prairie as they’re looking to finish up various bits of road rehabilitation work while the weather cooperates.

The city says mill and overlay work has kicked off on 96 Street from 100 Avenue to 107 Avenue and Hillcrest Drive, as well as 101 Avenue from 98 Street to 100 Street excluding the 101 Street intersection, 98 Avenue from 95 Street to 96 Street and 97A Street from 76 Avenue to 77 Avenue

The work is expected impact both traffic and transit in the areas and construction is anticipated to be completed by mid-September.
