Aquatera named one of Alberta’s Top Employers for a fourth consecutive year

Aquatera Utilities has been named one of Alberta’s Top Employers for the fourth year in a row.

The annual competition aims to highlight organizations that lead in their industries by creating innovative workplaces and offering “forward-thinking” programs for their employees.

Aquatera CEO Vaughn Bend says the recognition means a lot to his company, especially as it continues its efforts to establish a healthy environment for Aquatera’s employees.

“This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to fostering an environment where our employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a meaningful impact,” he says.

Alberta’s Top Employers competition was first introduced in 2006 and evaluates employers using the same criteria as its national counterpart including- the physical workplace, atmosphere, health and financial benefits, vacation, skills development, and more.

The utility supplier says Aquatera’s selection as one of Alberta’s Top Employers comes as a result of the company’s commitment to employee engagement and wellbeing through several onsite amenities like a fully equipped fitness center, and a meditation room, which Aquatera says allows employees to prioritize their health.
