Longtime music, religion teacher named Holy Family Catholic Division Faith Permeation Coordinator

The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division has appointed Nicola Quigley as the Division Faith Permeation Coordinator.

She is described as having a wealth of experience from her previous role as Faith Permeation Coordinator at Good Shepherd School in Peace River.

In her new role, Quigley will work directly with the coordinators at each school, with a focus on ensuring the HFCRD’s goal of integrating faith throughout a student’s education is met.

The University of Lethbridge graduate began her teaching career three decades ago in 1993 at Glenmary School, where she taught band, social studies, and religion. In 2007, she moved to Good Sheperd School as a music teacher and school Faith Coordinator, where she found a connection to her students’ faith through music, which Superintendent Betty Turpin says makes her an “ideal fit” for her new role.

“Her passion for ensuring that HFCRD’s commitment to faith permeates every aspect of the school day is truly inspiring, and I have full confidence in her ability to lead this important work.”

Outside of school, Quigley has been actively involved in her community, contributing to Peace Players musical productions, the local choir in Peace River, and music ministry at Our Lady of Peace Parish.
