GPPSD students sleigh during 2024 Holiday Art Card Contest

The Grande Prairie Public School Division has announced the winners of the 2024 GPPSD Board of Trustees Holiday Art Card Contest.

Every year, the event aims to celebrate the creativity and artistic talents of high schoolers from Bridge Network, Charles Spencer High School, and Grande Prairie Composite High School.

This year’s theme- “All is Bright,” inspired students to create thoughtful and original artwork that officials say “truly captured” the spirit of the holidays.

This year’s winner is Malia Quevillon, from Charles Spencer High School. Malia’s artwork will be featured on the GPPSD’s official holiday card, which will be shared with community partners throughout the Christmas season.

Second place went to Grande Prairie Composite student Lauren Dunbar, and there was a two-way tie for third place between Tanu Namsot from GP Composite, and Brynn Willson from Charles Spencer.

All the winners will receive cash prizes in recognition of their contributions.
