Design Works Engineering has been announced as the new naming rights partner for the Twin Ice Arena at the Community Knowledge Campus. The partnership, according to the city, is a 10-year naming rights agreement, which they say will help contribute to enhanced programs, facilities, projects and services.
“City Council is excited about the announcement of another significant naming rights partnership at the City, this time between our Twin Ice Arenas and Design Works Engineering,” says Mayor Jackie Clayton.
“The facility is a hallmark in the community with drop-in programming, year-round ice for sport and recreation and booking space for events and birthdays. We look forward to seeing many great memories made at the new Design Works Centre.”
The soon to be Design Works Centre is the only rink of it’s kind in the municipality, which offers up two, year-round ice surfaces. The official naming ceremony and change over will take place in November.
