City to host Harvest Festival at Muskoseepi Park

The city will be hosting its new Harvest Festival later this month with a lineup of free events for those looking to enjoy kicking off the fall.

Included in the festivities are straw bale mazes, buskers, a pie eating contest and a chili cook-off. The tastiest three entries in the chili cook-off will also be handed out. Competitors can also sell their chili to event goers after the competition is over if they have a business licence and proof of insurance.

The full slate of events will take place across Muskoseepi Park, the Grande Prairie Museum and Heritage Village on Saturday, September 24 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
