Students who attend St. Joseph Catholic and Charles Spencer high schools and live in the Westpointe and Pinnacle areas now have a new bus service kicking off with the new school year.
Starting Wednesday, route 1A will run once daily from Westpointe Drive and 84 Avenue at 7:50 a.m. travelling southeast and arriving at the Eastlink Centre at 8:05 a.m. Students can then use the usual Route 1 for a way home after class.
The City of Grande Prairie says the new route was introduced to ensure students in those areas have a “reliable and accessibl”‘ way to travel to school.
