Grande Prairie will play host to Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Friday. Chrystia Freeland will first meet with local farmers with the intention of discussing the importance of Canadian agriculture and global food security.
She’ll then meet with skilled tradespeople and representatives from Northwestern Polytechnic to discuss jobs and skills training in Alberta. Lastly, she’ll sit down with Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton.
