An investigation is underway following a fatal crash in the rural Grande Prairie area. Grande Prairie RCMP says a vehicle went off the road on Township Road 710 and Range Road 72 around 4:45 a.m. Friday morning.
A 54-year-old man from Grande Prairie was declared dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
Police are investigating the cause, but say no further updates to the public are expected and the name of the deceased will not be released.
