Josh’s Summer Cruiser blog for August 4 – 8

It’s Josh with the 2day FM Summer Cruiser, powered by Standard Auto Glass, supported by the Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association, Frontier Eatery & Saloon, Eastlink Mobile, and Ken Sargent GMC Buick.

I started my week by going to Lions Park on August 4th. I ran into some people who put their names in the draw for $1,047. Of course, I hooked them up with some swag from the cruiser. I also ran into the kids’ summer camp from Northreach Society.

On Friday I cruised to the Sexsmith ball diamonds where the Broad Family One Pitch Tournament took place. It was a fundraiser to help Tessa and her medical journey. Later on, I made my way out to the Grande Prairie Farmers Market. I love seeing all the vendors.

On Saturday the 4th Annual Stacy Krahn Memorial Wembley Mud Bogs took place. It was a perfect day for a mud bog.

I got to dress up in an inflatable dinosaur costume and do an obstacle course. I was so happy to help them out with all the activities.

On Sunday I started my day at the Hythe Motor Speedway. It was so cool to see all the cars go around the track. It was my first time seeing anything like that.

After watching cars going around and around, it was time for me to bust a move. Sunday in Muskoseepi Park they had a stern dance. Thanks to the City of Grande Prairie I was able to learn some amazing moves.

To end my day I cruised on down to Evergreen Park for Bacon Fest and the horse races. The County of Grande Prairie Firefighters helped out by serving the bacon.
