With students across the region heading back to class in just under a months time, the Grande Prairie Public School Division is looking to make at least one potential worry a little less worrisome.
The First Ride Program, which is a school bus safety program that introduces younger students and their parents to the school bus, is again back for another year.
The 30-minute in person presentation will quickly dive into all things school bus safety, followed by a ride on the bus to get students ready for the first day of school. School division officials say while the program is geared towards those entering preschool, kindergarten, and grade 1, all students are welcome.
The event is slated to take place August 24th, and you can find more information about the First Ride Program here.
