The region that includes Grande Prairie posted the highest unemployment rate in the province as the number is now up to 5.4 per cent in the month of July. That’s up from 4.5 per cent in June 2022, but down from 8.2 per cent from July 2021.
The Lethbridge area recorded the lowest rate in Alberta in the month of July with 3.8 per cent.
Provincially, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate also dropped to 4.8 per cent from 4.9 in June.
