UPDATE: ATCO says power was restored around 1:45 p.m.
Approximately 300 customers are without power in rural areas north and east of Sexsmith. ATCO says they have crews on scene working to restore the power, which was caused by a broken wire.
ATCO Electric says the estimated time of restoration is approximately 1 p.m.
