The first part of the new Clairmont Adventure park is set to open to the public today. The Clairmont and District Agricultural Society broke ground on the project in August last year, and is now ready to unveil phase 1, the skate park.
The park will officially open at 4 pm this afternoon. The anticipated completion date for the water park is July 1, though the Ag Society is still looking for donations of time, money, equipment, and volunteers to help finish Phase 2.
