Police in Valleyview have released more clear surveillance footage of a vehicle involved in a recent drive-by shooting on Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. The suspect vehicle has been identified as a 1980s or 1990s single cab Chevrolet GMT 400.
It’s reported that around 6 a.m. on July 16th, multiple gunshots were heard in the area of the Sturgeon Lake Resource Center, and they were directed towards a nearby home. There were three people inside at the time but no one was injured.
An older, orange pick-up truck was seen leaving the home’s driveway in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Valleyview RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
