Month long Rio Grande Bridge closure starts Monday

Drivers who use the Rio Grande Bridge as part of their daily commute will have to get used to a new route as of Monday, as a months long closure on the bridge is expected to begin.

Range Road 121 between Township Road 704 and 703, over the Rio Grande Bridge, will close on July 25th, as part of the Rio Grande Bridge replacement project. Crews will also be working to realign the existing road with the new bridge.

The closure is expected to last until the end of August. Drivers can access Range Road 121 north and south of the closure using Secondary Highway 722 and Township Road 710.
