A year after a socially distanced event took over parts of downtown, the full scale Grande Prairie International Street Performers Festival will kick off Friday with a little more pre-pandemic feel.
Entertainment, including performances, music, along with bouncy castles, balloon twister circus workshops for kids, a food court, and street merchants, will take over four city blocks starting Friday afternoon and running until Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
Organizers are still accepting volunteers in four-hour shifts for the three day event, and those looking to lend a hand will get a free t-shirt for their efforts. You can find more information on the 2022 Grande Prairie International Street Performers Festival here.
