UPDATE: Valleyview RCMP has identified the suspect vehicle as an 80s to 90s single cab Chevrolet GMT 400.
Valleyview RCMP is investigating after a drive-by shooting occurred near the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and Resource Centre. The investigation is ongoing and Valleyview RMCP is requesting the public’s assistance regarding the incidents.
Officers responded to a call at around 6 p.m. on July 17th. It was reported that there were multiple gunshots heard and the shots were directed towards a residence in the area. There were three occupants inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.
An older, orange pick-up truck was seen leaving the driveway of the residence, fleeing in an unknown
direction.
