Fairview Health Complex temporarily closes acute care beds amid staff shortage

The Fairview Health Complex has closed nine of the 25 acute care inpatient beds due to a staff shortage, according to Alberta Health Services. The temporary closure of the nine beds is expected to last from June 6th until July 1st.

During the closure, all other existing and emergency services at the facility will remain in place. Alberta Health Services says efforts are ongoing to address the staff shortages.
