UPDATE: No injuries reported in Pinnacle multi-house fire

UPDATE: The Grande Prairie Fire Department has confirmed no one was injured in the fire, which did significant damage to one home and moderate damage to a second. The third home sustained minor damage.

Platoon Chief Steve Larsen reports the fire was fast-moving by the time firefighters arrived and they worked hard to protect the neighbouring homes. An investigation into the fire is underway.

A home in Pinnacle West looks to be destroyed and two others damaged by a fire. The Grande Prairie Fire Department is responding to the blaze at 69 Avenue and 115 Street Wednesday evening.

Black smoke could be seen billowing from the area from across the city. Crews remain on the scene at of 6:30 p.m.
