Evergreen Park bringing back the drive-in

Evergreen Park is helping Grande Prairie residents take a trip down memory lane later this month with an outdoor drive-in movie.

There will be two films showing the weekend of May 22 and 23, Smokey and the Bandit on Friday followed by American Graffiti on Saturday. Admission to the two shows is free but Evergreen Park will be taking donations for non-profit groups that will be helping with parking, popcorn and cleanup.

The first few rows in front of the screen will be reserved for vintage cars so anyone with a vehicle 25 years or older can contact Evergreen Park to reserve a spot.

Gates open at 9 pm on Friday and Saturday with the movies getting started at 10 pm both nights.
