The Peace Wapiti Public School Division has named Shawn O’Shea the new Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services, taking over the position from Kevin Elias.
The division says O’Shea has been an employee for the past 15 years, including his current role as Whispering Ridge Community School Principal. O’Shea says he’s excited to be able to make the leap into the administration team.
“I am looking forward to working with and supporting the learning communities throughout the Peace Wapiti Public School Division,” he adds.
PWPSD officials say O’Shea has received leadership and teaching awards and brings a wealth of experience to his new role on the administrative team. O’Shea will transition into his new role as Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services in August.
