118 new and 59 recovered cases of COVID-19 were reported in the City of Grande Prairie over the last three days. There are now 427 active cases of the virus in the municipality.
43 new and 12 recovered cases of COVID-19 were also identified in the county over the last 72 hours, pushing the active case total in the region to 160.
Province-wide, 6,537 new cases of the virus were also reported on the weekend from 19,331 tests for a positivity rate of 33.8 per cent. Across Alberta, 1,516 people remain in hospital due to COVID-19, with 99 requiring the ICU.
