108 Street & 97 Avenue intersection goes under the knife Thursday

Starting Thursday, southbound traffic on 108 street will be down to one lane at 97 Avenue until at least the weekend as Aquatera crews will be on-site to complete some maintenance work.

The city says the 97 Avenue intersection will also be without a left turning lane for drivers heading north on 108 Street. The city says work on the area is expected to be wrapped up on Sunday. Drivers are being urged to obey all signage and be mindful of workers in the area.
