UPDATE: Highway 43 reopened after crash near Debolt

UPDATE: The RCMP says the eastbound lane of Highway 43 has been cleared and traffic is flowing again. Drivers are warned the road is still icy and slippery in the area.

The Grande Prairie RCMP says the eastbound lane of Highway 43 and Range Road 10 in Debolt is blocked after a multi-vehicle collision involving two semi-trucks and a tanker trunk.

Drivers are asked to take alternate routes and avoid the area of the collision, slow down and drive to the conditions as the roadways are icy and slippery in the area due to recent changes in weather and precipitation.

No one was injured as a result of the collision, according to police.
