UPDATE: Water break repaired in Spirit River

UPDATE: The water break has been repaired. Spirit River thanks residents for their cooperation.

The Town of Spirit River is asking residents in certain sections of the municipality to conserve water for the next 24 hours, as crews work to fix a water break.

Municipal officials say those in the affected areas, specifically 46 Avenue between 48 Street and 50 Street, should work to conserve water as much as possible, as the break has affected the volume of water at the local Water Treatment Plant.

Repairs are ongoing as they work to get the issue fixed as soon as possible.
