UPDATE: The previously issued weather statement has ended, per Environment Canada.
A snowfall warning has been issued for Grande Prairie. According to Environment Canada, the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview area could see as many as 10-15 centimetres of snow into Sunday morning. The warning is expected to end as of Sunday afternoon.
Drivers are reminded to clear vehicles of snow, drive to the conditions, make sure lights are turned on, and take extra caution when travelling due to expected reduced visibility.
