2day FM collecting warm socks for vulnerable people in Grande Prairie

Now through January 31st, 2day FM is taking donations of new men’s and women’s warm socks. The community has supported the Share the Warmth program with nearly 800 garments donated, so 2day FM wanted to try something new.

Think about the last time you were cold. We all know that feeling, not to mention how difficult it might be for some people that are out in the cold. It’s an everyday reality for some people in our communities, so we’re collecting socks to give to our vulnerable population through Wapiti House and The Saint Lawrence Centre.

Every pair we collect will make a critical difference in someone’s life. So pull up your socks and bring us some socks. Let’s warm up some toes this winter, together. Donations are being accepted at the 2day FM office on 104 Avenue during business hours from Monday to Friday.
