City mistakenly withdraws December tax payments twice

As part of an update posted to the municipal website, city officials say due to an unexpected error, December TIPPs tax payments may have been withdrawn twice from users’ accounts.

“The City is working with our banking partner to have this issue resolved as soon as possible. Once resolved, users’ will see a refund in their bank accounts for the additional withdrawal,” the statement continued.

TIPP, allows taxpayers to pay their property taxes in monthly installments through pre-authorized withdrawal of funds from taxpayers’ bank account.
