The staff at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum got to spend time this week learning from the former Chief Registrar of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
Mary Case came to town to lead a board retreat in preparation for the museum to open this fall. Her work with museums includes coaching for staff and board members, along with strategy development and execution.
Case says she is excited to play a role in helping the museum prepare to open, and that the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is a world-class institution in the making. She also had praise for President and CEO George Jacob, who she says is the capable professional the museum needs for it’s launch.
