UPDATE: Snowfall warning ended for Grande Prairie

UPDATE: The snowfall warning has ended for Grande Prairie as of 8:39 AM on December 23rd, 2021, per Environment Canada.

Get those shovels ready, folks, Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for parts of western Alberta, including the Grande Prairie region on Wednesday.

The national meteorological service says a long sustained period of snowfall will continue the remainder of Tuesday, with the heaviest snow, anywhere between 10 and 20 centimeters, will fall on Wednesday and Wednesday night. The snow will taper off from the northwest during the day Thursday. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
