23 year old Shane Babitsch is looking to amend his plea entered against first degree murder charges.
Babitsch was charged early last year in connection to the murder of 26 year Courtney Johnstone.
He previously plead not guilty to the charges, but has now applied to change that plea. It is not yet clear whether that means he will be pleading guilty, or to a lesser charge.
Johnstone’s body was found in the Aquatera landfill last February

following Babitsh’s arrest in connection to her murder. He will next appear in court on June 15-th.
