May 5th is voting day in Alberta

Albertans head to the polls Tuesday. Across the province, polling stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and voters can find their designated spot at elections.ab.ca.

The latest poll results from ThreeHundredEight.com show the NDP with 40 to 47 per cent support, following by the Wildrose with 24 to 27 and the Progressive Conservatives with 22 to 26 per cent.

In Grande Prairie – Smoky, PC candidate Everett McDonald is looking for reelection, against Todd Loewen, who’s running for the Wildrose for the third time. Kevin McLean is again representing the Liberals, while firefighter Todd Russell fronts the NDP.

In Grande Prairie – Wapiti, Wayne Drysdale is running again for the Progressive Conservatives, while Mary Dahr fronts the NDP, Laila Goodridge represents the Wildrose, and Rory Tarant heads up the Alberta Party campaign.
