École Montrose was briefly evacuated just after 12:45 this afternoon after smoke was spotted coming out of a washroom.
The Grande Prairie Fire Department responded and determined it was an electrical problem with a hand dryer.
Students were able to safely return to class at 1:30 and have been praised by their school for properly following evacuation procedures.
