UPDATE: Highway 43 has reopened in both directions at the Smoky River Bridge. Drive with caution as road is damaged from fire, but will be repaired at a later date.
Traffic delays are expected on Highway 43 for the next couple of hours due to a tractor trailer on fire on the Smoky River Bridge.
Drivers aren’t getting through in either direction at this time and are asked to find an alternate route through.
RCMP says at this point there is no indication of any injuries.
